About us
“Beacon IAS”, a Civil Services Examination coaching institute under Vishwaroop Education Pvt. Ltd. is established with the vision of nurturing the administrators of tomorrow and seeks to achieve:
“समरस एवं खुशहाल भारत”
Service to the nation and mankind should be the sole objective of every individual. Civil Services provide an opportunity to touch various aspects of the same. In India, administrative setup has been witnessed since the time of Harappan Civilization. Kautilya, in his treatise Arthashastra, has given a detailed account of administration during the Maurya era. Our administrative setup traces its roots in Colonial India which served in the Colonial empire’s best interests. After independence shedding its colonial history, the focus of Civil Services has been more on developmental activities and efforts in enhancing national integration. Today Civil Services provide an opportunity to serve the nation along with solving the issues nagging it.
Vast geographical spread and cultural diversity of India ensures a deep pool of bright and talented students who can prove to be great assets as Civil Servants. At Beacon IAS, we strive to help, assist and guide the students in facilitating them to get through various roadblocks and crack the Civil Services Examination. This helps us in rendering our duty towards the society and the nation.
We are guided by various personalities having diverse range of experience in Civil Services. They have helped us in generating an understanding of the core requirements to achieve success in the examination. Guided by these valuable experiences, we have charted out our programs. Sincere efforts are made to ensure that, concepts are explained to the students in a simple and clear manner. Our faculties are experienced in their respective fields and have come together with dedication and commitment to the cause of students. Our fundamental principle of teaching gives an insight on each topic using bottom-up approach. This evolves the students understanding of the topic from its basic governing concepts. Our aim here is to establish a sound foundation of relevant topics in each subject.
As a facilitator to the above: All our classrooms are equipped with the latest technologies like – touch enabled white boards, Surround Sound System and High-resolution Projectors. Students are provided with up to date study material on all subjects to minimize dictation process in the classrooms. We encourage our students to indulge in debates in classroom, thereby, provoking their thought process which leads to more clarity of concepts. We also provide a comprehensive series of tests followed by its analysis; This helps students in analysing mistakes and improves their performance graph steadily.
